Think of photosynthesis in two stages. First, chlorophyll absorbs light. The light-dependent reactions produce ATP and NADPH, and release oxygen as a by-product. Next, the Calvin cycle uses ATP and NADPH to help build glucose from carbon dioxide. Glucose stores chemical energy; oxygen is the by-product. Which stage produces ATP?

Credits pay for generating or marking new content. Reopening saved material does not generate it again. Free includes 3 lessons in total, 20 AI Tutor messages and 3,000 daily AI credits that do not stack. Daily credits do not reset the lesson or message limits. Longer uploads and more complex AI work can use more credits; paid plans increase usage and upload limits.
A budgeting example, not a usage guarantee: if your lesson costs 50 credits, 5,000 covers 100 of those generations. If it costs 100, it covers 50. Tutoring and other AI actions share the same balance. You can review charges in your account's usage history.
Pro (USD 40), Super Pro (USD 70), and VIP (USD 120) plans available for higher AI credit limits — see your account after signing up.
FAQ
PDFs, PowerPoint slides, Word documents, plain text, audio files like lecture recordings, and photos of handwritten notes. Drop a stack of phone-camera shots of your notebook and URAI scans every page, then weaves them into a single transcript. You can mix sources in one lesson — Smart Drop works out where each file belongs.
Your lessons are private to your account. Generating study tools involves sending material to the AI providers described in our privacy policy. You can delete your lessons or account from URAI.

URAI brings your lesson notes, visual tutoring, quizzes and review into one study flow. You can check an explanation against its source, practise the material and return to saved work without setting up a new conversation each time.
You can adjust reading fonts and spacing, use clearer number formatting, choose shorter study chunks and switch to a low-distraction layout. Specialist fonts need to be installed on your device; otherwise a standard readable font is used. Pick what works for you in Settings.

Activity
Follow an action from a reported start to a confirmed result. Open an event for its evidence and context.
These are activity records, not recordings of screens, keystrokes, chats or answers. Browser reports show what a device reported, not proof that an action completed. Older records may have less detail.
Account ID includes actions by that person and actions affecting their account. This timeline includes QA accounts; the toggle above applies to metrics. Clear filters returns to the last 7 days.
To find audio or microphone problems reported by a device, choose “Browser reported” and “Failed”. Server failures appear under “Failed”. A reported start does not mean an action is still in progress.
Totals count log entries, not unique actions. One action can leave several records; people are counted once by the account that acted.

Learning preferences
URAI Tutor is being built for real students, including people with ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, visual needs, motor needs, different reading styles, or any other study preference. If something would make studying easier, calmer, clearer, or more accessible for you, send it here.
I care about this because school can feel brutal when you need guidance and the tools do not fit how your brain works. Your feedback can shape what gets built next.

What's new
We ship updates regularly. Here's what changed lately — newest first.
Legal
Terms
URAI Tutor provides AI study tools for summaries, quizzes, tutoring, and notes. Outputs may be imperfect, so users should review important content themselves.
You are responsible for the material you upload and for using the service lawfully. Accounts may be limited or suspended for misuse, abuse, or attempts to bypass credit limits.
Privacy
One-off tomorrow reminders are requested separately after completed practice and can be cancelled in Settings. They do not subscribe you to recurring mail. Three-question challenges require a preview and approval before publication; uploads, quoted source passages and your answers stay private. Guest sessions last up to seven days, and explicitly saved copies belong to the recipient’s account. See the full privacy policy for sharing, expiry and experiment-count details.
We use account details to sign you in, send verification and reset emails, provide support, process payments, and operate the study features.
Weekly recaps and study reminders are separate opt-ins in Settings. Recaps use saved quiz and check results, not guesses about time spent or mastery. We store email choices, timezone, send times and outcomes to respect your schedule and prevent duplicate sends. Study emails contain no open-tracking pixels; their links open the normal website, where website analytics may apply. Turn either type off in Settings or stop both from a study email. Requested one-off reports do not subscribe you. Account and security messages are separate.
Uploaded lesson content is used to generate your study outputs. Relevant content is sent to our AI providers: DeepSeek for lesson text and tutoring, OpenAI for supported image and voice features or configured text fallbacks, and ElevenLabs for voice and podcast audio. Stripe handles payments; we do not store full card details. Uploaded audio transcription runs on our own servers using Whisper.
For support and reliability, we keep account-linked activity logs showing the feature used, time, related lesson, and recorded outcome, such as a saved quiz or a failed voice request. Authorised administrators can review these logs. New operational entries do not copy your tutor messages, quiz answers, uploaded text, passwords or payment credentials, and are removed after 90 days by our scheduled cleanup. They are separate from the study content you save and from the analytics services described below.
We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics / Google Ads to understand how the site is used, fix bugs, improve the experience, and measure advertising. Clarity records session replays and heatmaps. These recordings are not anonymised: text typed into input fields (passwords, transcript text, personal notes) is automatically masked and never recorded, but your page views and interactions are recorded and can be linked to your account while you are signed in. Read Microsoft's privacy notes at privacy.microsoft.com.
Retention and your rights: we keep your account details, uploaded lessons, and generated outputs while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the account panel; this erases your profile, uploaded content, generated outputs, conversations, and sessions from our systems. Records we are legally required to keep (for example, payment and tax records held by Stripe) are retained only for the period the law requires.
Refunds
If something goes wrong with a payment, duplicated subscription, or unused top-up, contact support. Refunds are reviewed case by case.
Subscription cancellations stop future renewals. Used AI credits and completed top-ups are generally non-refundable unless required by law or caused by a billing error.
